Several months ago I embarked on a quest to build a full-auto bullpup blaster, as I love bullpup and now love full auto. I began with an Autorayven as I wanted to make my Elite Rayven special, however lingering Rayven-related issues caused that project to be scrapped. The next best of course is a bullpup Rapidstrike, so I took my remaning spare Rapidstrike and got to work on that.

Mod: Titan Triple Missile Attachment
The Nerf Titan is a fun blaster to tinker with, because of its incredible power. Making it shoot one dart is easy and incredibly effective, but I wanted something more unique and more ridiculous. With the release of the Demoliser, Thunderblast and missile refill packs, I decided to make something that would utilise those missiles. Now compared to the Titan's original Mega Missile, the new Elite missiles are significantly smaller and lighter, which would enable the Titan to fire several of them at once.

Quick Mod: Armless Nerf Crossbolt, Removable Arms
Just a quick mod I did to my newly acquired Crossbolt. Review will be done pretty soon now that exams are over.

Motor Replacements: Falcon'd Rapidstrike, Banshee'd E.Rayven
Further progress and updates on motor replacements. The Autorayven project has been shelved for now, partly due to Rayven related alignment issues and partly because of how perfect the Rapidstrike is. But more on that later.

Mini Mod: Semi Auto Rapidstrike (aka Slowstrike)
I have plans to make my Elite Rayven full auto. Those plans involve a Rapidstrike pusher, Longshot stock, Falcons and a 3S. As I'm currently waiting for the Falcons and 3S to arrive, I thought I'd make use of my now useless pusher donating RS.
Externally it looks no different, which was part of the goal. Internally however...

Review: HobbyMods EAT Spring Mod Kit
HobbyMods (link left) is an Aussie based aftermarket/mod parts seller who does springs and 3D mod parts. Being that the EAT is one of my favourite blasters and HobbyMods have an excellent mod kit for it, I decided to pick up a set (as well as another for a friend).
As I installed the kit at night, unfortunately the pics have rather bad lighting, but hopefully you can still see the important parts.

Mod: Motor Replaced Elite Rayven
The Elite Rayven is one of my favourite blasters. I love its aesthetics and the way it feels, and it's my go-to flywheeler. Sadly as I normally run it with 2 Barricade motors on 2 IMRs, its performance doesn't quite stack up to my EAT with OMW spring, and in games against similar level modded blasters (spring replaced springers), I can really feel the difference in power. So I departed on a quest to get more power from my beloved Rayven, and I entered the world of motor replacements.

Quick Mod: Nerf Mega Bigshock
One of my new acquisitions from Canada, the Bigshock is already a favourite of some modders for its ease of modding, power and low price (10CAD). I embarked on a short quest to make the Bigshock more powerful and also able to use both Mega darts or regular darts like Kooshes.

Mod: Minimised Rapidstrike
One popular mod for the Rapidstrike (besides the standard overhauling of its internals) is minimisation of the shell, as Nerf is lacking in a full-auto clip (mag) fed sidearm.
This is my take of an SMG/PDW style minimisation.

Mod: Modular Underbarrel Demolisher System
One of the things I wanted most from the Demolisher was a detachable rocket launcher, because I like underbarrel grenade launchers. Sadly the stock Demolisher rocket launcher is permanently integrated, so I did it myself.

Mod: Bullpup Elite Alpha Trooper
I've been a bit preoccupied the past few weeks which is why there have been no new reviews, but hopefully this post will tie you guys over until I can get the next one done.

Mod: Shortened Retaliator Barrel
This one's purely for tacticool, since it's been pretty well established that Nerf faux barrel are typically more detrimental to performance than helpful.
This shortened barrel is pretty easy to make. Just cut a regular Retaliator barrel down the middle, just in front of the screw ports. Then add useless tacticool things to make it look cooler. In my case I added barrel's iron sight and the muzzle from an Alpha Trooper.
One important feature I kept was the bottom tactical rail. Because of the blocks that usually keep a grip forward, these blocks now serve to keep attachments from falling off, since the usual tactical rail lock has had to be removed.
More pics after the break.

Modification: Elite Dart Conversion
Ever wished that your streamlines were Elite darts but you're not bothered to buy a pack of Elites from your local Target? The answer is, make your own! Without using $8-12 on a pack of 30 Elite darts, use 2-5 minutes instead and convert your outmatched streamlines to more accurate darts for your Elite blasters!
Disclaimer: Mod at your own risk! Outback Nerf can't be held responsible for any damage to your darts/ and or blasters.

Pump Action Nerf Retaliator
Back when the Recon first came out (2007-2008?), people criticised it's uncomfortable top slide priming and some modders (me included) made the useless included light into a pump to make a pump action Recon. This not only improved its ROF and comfort of usage, but also rapid-fire accuracy. Fast forward to 2009 and the Raider comes out, with foregrip pump action and slam fire. This made priming much more comfortable and gave the Raider a much higher ROF, although the side magwell was a criticised point for many, including me. A bit further forward to 2010 and we have the Alpha Trooper, with pump action slam fire like the Raider, but with a vertical magwell instead of a horizontal one. That combined with above average stock performance, the AT's other features and its low price made the Alpha Trooper an extremely popular blaster. Some however preferred the foregrip pump action of the Raider.
Now recently in 2012, when the Elite line was first launched, two of its blasters were revamped versions of old blasters, namely the Retaliator (Recon) and Rampage (Raider). While the Retaliator was well received by many, the Rampage has a number of fans but seemingly not as many as the Retaliator. They shared similar problems to their predecessors, namely the awkward top slide action for the Retaliator and side magwell for the Rampage.
To improve the Retaliator's ROF several people did the same pump action mod as they did with Recons, except with the Retaliator's foregrip, making the Retaliator a foregrip pump action blaster like the Rampage, but with a vertical magwell and without slam fire.
I am one of those people, although I performed the pump action mod in August 2013 rather than upon Elite release in 2012.

My Modded Nerf Supermaxx 1500
Outback Nerf's not much of a modding blog, but this particular blaster is special/important enough that I've decided to give it a post.
It's taken a long time, but I've finally gotten my Supermaxx 1500 to a point I'm happy with.
Mods:
EDIT: Probably don't pay these ranges too much stock, given that no exact stefan specs were provided.
Personally I'm quite proud of it because it's not an easy mod unless you're an experienced modder and have all the right tools and materials. It's the first turreted airgun I've modded and also the first rear loading turret I've done.

Mods:
- 20cm (8") PETG barrels with suitable spacer and turret mods
- Rear loading slot and necessary turret mods
- Pump plugged (allows for higher pressures to be stored in the tank)
- Trigger spring glued (allows for faster air release with proper trigger discipline, trigger action feels smoother and sharper)
- Tank to turret airflow improved

Modded Elite Triad EX-3 Range Test
I range tested my modded Triad. Also, I finally got around to making an intro vid.
Mods:
Ranges:
EDIT: Don't pay those range claims too much stock, they probably weren't measured properly and the Triad probably wasn't totally flat.
Mods:
Ranges:
- Lowest shot: 15m (50ft) - dived into the ground
- Cluster - 20.5m (67ft)
- Top shot - 22m (72ft)

Buzz Bee Berserker Mod
So I overhauled my Buzz Bee Berserker which I've had for about 8 months.
Mods:
-Extra Tac Rail
-Replaced handle
-Airgun couplered
-Turret rebarreled
-Stock attached
This is the result:
And throughout the mod I took loads of pics for a writeup, which I've posted on Oznerf here: link
Ranges:
Turret (PTG)
-50-55ft with Whistlers
-60+ft with Streamlines
(ATG)
-Probably over 70-80ft
Airgun (PTG)
-Typical 4B - 40m (~130ft) easy with the right dart-barrel combo.
(ATG)
-Well over 200ft (~65m)
EDIT: Don't pay too much attention to these ranges, they're probably not properly measured or done.
All in all, it could have been done better, but I'm happy with it.

Nerf Stampede ECS SMG Test Vids
Some vids to test my Stampede ECS SMG.
ROF is about 4dps (I think).
Ranges up to about 23m flat (75ft). Accuracy is almost nonexistent.
EDIT: Probably don't give these ranges much stock.
All in all it's a great rushing and spamming blaster but it definitely sucks at accuracy.

Rayven Reliability Test
In this vid I test how reliable the Rayven is. I fire off 7x18 clips (mags), which totals 126 darts.
ROF peaks at 6dps in the middle three clips (mags).
Not a single jam or misfire.
