They were on sale for $20 a while back, that felt like the last crates of stock that Kmart was trying to dump (successfully). If you don't want to try getting a second hand one or importing, one of the Stryfe clones (Demo, Modulus, CAM) will be your only option.P13c30fch33s3https://www.blogger.com/profile/00203166690272497443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-26281761277188598752014-08-24T17:46:13.698+10:002014-08-24T17:46:13.698+10:00I've run my Stryfe on 4 rechargeables before a...I've run my Stryfe on 4 rechargeables before and it worked just fine, so there should only be problems if the batteries are really worn down.P13c30fch33s3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03971776453540415024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-28844521877041858282014-08-23T18:27:15.276+10:002014-08-23T18:27:15.276+10:00regular voltage is 1.5 on alkaline batteries x 4 =...regular voltage is 1.5 on alkaline batteries x 4 = 6 volts
Those batteries were 1.2 x 4 = 4.8 volts = loss of 1.2 volts, almost an extra batteryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-29173850227713792052014-07-06T16:29:13.504+10:002014-07-06T16:29:13.504+10:00After your advice, I tried using Alkaline instead ...After your advice, I tried using Alkaline instead of NiMH and my Stryfe is back to normal, looks like the problem is Voltage, anyways, Thanks for your help.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-412309112684551992014-07-05T15:52:13.666+10:002014-07-05T15:52:13.666+10:00The gates shouldn't be causing jams. If the lock was causing jams, I'd recommend removing it entirely rather than gluing it, so as to completely eliminate it from the equation.
I assume you've tried new/recharged batteries? Low battery power could be why you've lost range. Assuming your Stryfe was getting good ranges before you did anything, then the only explanation is that something you did must be interfering with the firing system. In which case you're probably best off returning the Stryfe to its original stock form, and then just removing the lock.P13c30fch33s3https://www.blogger.com/profile/03971776453540415024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-75662363513382630292014-07-05T12:19:53.345+10:002014-07-05T12:19:53.345+10:00Hi, can I ask a question about the Stryfe, I bough...Hi, can I ask a question about the Stryfe, I bought an orange trigger one, at first it was awesome, I kinda liked it, then it jammed due to the lock, I glued the lock, but it jammed again cause of the gates, I removed the gates, performance is still fine, but now, my Stryfe has a hard time reaching 10 meters, I'm using 1.2 volt batteriesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7516405105463063210.post-51363666933182569872014-05-08T10:28:28.227+10:002014-05-08T10:28:28.227+10:00So the Stryfe is stopping you from firing darts?

That would just make this package so much more useful, especially as it can't be purchased separately. Well, I'll go with the 18-clip then, I guess.

Keep rocking, mate!
Franky
Frankyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15353969401662341793noreply@blogger.com
